The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Shooting incident that was reported to have occurred near the corner of Burton Avenue and Napier Avenue just after 09:30 p.m. Thursday. It was reported that 20yr old Antonio Dwayne McGruder of Macon was dropped off on Burton Avenue. As he was walking on Burton Avenue he heard shots and was struck in the right knee. McGruder was taken to the Coliseum Northside Hospital by a relative. The shooting was reported by hospital personnel after McGruder arrived. He is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. No information is available on the suspect at this time.
