The Annual National Night Out Kick-off/Press Conference will be Tuesday morning, August 1, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at the Historic Terminal Station located at 200 Cherry Street. Colonel Henderson Carswell, with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, will welcome everyone, followed by greetings and remarks from Mayor Robert Reichert, other local officials and special guests.
There will also be neighborhood events and activities throughout the day and evening. Kings Hawaiian is the National Sponsor for this event. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office encourages the citizens of Bibb County to turn on their porch lights to signal participation and join people nationwide in locking their doors and spending the evening outside with neighbors, deputies, local government officials and firefighters.
