The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind motorist traveling in the downtown area Saturday, July 29, 2017 and Sunday, July 30, 2017 of the following street closures for Bragg Jam.
Cherry Street will be closed off to vehicle traffic from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to Fifth Street from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday for the “Kid’s Fest”.
The following streets will be closed from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until 3:00 a.m. Sunday;
- Cherry Street from Second Street to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
- Second Street from Poplar Street to Mulberry Street.
- Third Street from Cherry Street to Mulberry Street
No vehicles will be allowed to park within the closed areas of these streets during this time. No parking signs have already been posted to give advanced notice to motorist that park in the downtown area.
