The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Thursday night just before 10:15 P.M. at the Dollar General Store located at 5544 Thomaston Road. It was reported that the suspect, a black male, entered the store, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded the money from the store. The suspect took the cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of money and fled the store on foot. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as about 5’7” in height. He was wearing a black hoodie, grayish colored pants, a black t-shirt partially covering his face and white and blue colored tennis shoes.
