The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred on Friday night at around 9:45 p.m. at the Dollar General Store located at 4996 Bloomfield Road. It was reported that the suspect, a black male, entered the store displaying a silver handgun. The suspect demanded the money from the store’s cash registers. He took an undisclosed amount of cash from both cash drawers. No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect was described as a slender, dark-skinned black male. He was approximately 6 feet in height and was wearing a black hoodie, white basketball type shorts, with a black stripe on the side, white socks, black and white sneakers. He was wearing a bandana covering his face.
