The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place just after 4:00 A.M this morning at the Reliance Food Mart, located at 3590 Napier Ave. It was reported that three male suspects entered the store by forcefully pulling the stores locked doors open. One of the three suspects brandishing a firearm, and demanded the clerk give him money. After getting an undisclosed amount of money from the stores cash register and several damaged gaming machines the suspect left on foot in the direction of Mumford Road. The store clerk was stuck in the head with a gun by the suspect. His injuries are non- life threatening. No one else was injured during this incident.
The suspects were described as all males wearing all dark clothing; with all dark masks over their faces.
