Bibb County Patrol Deputy Rowe was working speed enforcement on Eisenhower Parkway near Fulton Mill Rd when he stopped a Nissan Altima driven by 26yr old Joshua Deon Ross of Lizella. When he went to approach the vehicle Ross speed off and Deputy Rowe followed him with his emergency equipment activated but Ross refused to stop. After a short chase that went down Fulton Mill Rd to Dixon Rd and ended on South Rogers Rd where Ross was taken into custody without incident.
Ross is being charged with speeding, expired tag, no insurance, reckless driving, Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer, for attempting to ram Deputy Rowe’s car while he was in it, fleeing and eluding Peace Officer, possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute. No one was injured during the incident.
