The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery by snatching that occurred at around 11:00 p.m. Wednesday night at 4755 Chambers Road, Shooters Bar. It was reported that the employee was unloading some beer behind the bar when the suspect started helping her. The employee had stepped away from the bar. When she returned she noticed the suspect by the front door with what was described as a can that had cash inside. The suspect ran out of the business with the can and the employee chased him. He dropped the can near the Waffle House Restaurant on Chambers Road but had taken the money from it. The employee did not know his name.
The suspect is described as a black male with a bald head. He was wearing a white t-shirt and khaki pants.
