A Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputy was in the 3400 block of Travis Boulevard in reference to another incident on Monday, April 17, 2016 at around 12:30 p.m. While in the area deputies received a call about 3 males that were seen in the area of Randall Road and were recognized as being the males that had previously broken into a home in the area. Deputies searched the area and saw 3 young males in the area of Randall Road. When deputies attempted to approach and talk to the males, they all ran. After a brief foot chase, all three were detained.

The males, all juveniles, ranging in age of 14 to 16, were taken to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Division to be interviewed. After the interviews were finished, all 3 males were charged with burglary.  The burglary arrests were in reference to some burglaries that previously occurred on Travis Boulevard and the Sandy Springs Apartments. The juveniles were transported to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center and booked on the burglary charge. With the combined efforts of our citizens, Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies and Investigators, we were able to clear up some burglaries in this area.
