The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred this afternoon just after 3:30 at Highland Cleaners, located at 691 North Avenue. It was reported that a black male entered the cleaners, approached the counter and told the employee behind the counter to give him the money. The suspect was armed with a gun. The employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the register. The suspect ran from the cleaners, last seen heading in a direction behind the cleaners.
The suspect was described as being tall, approximately 6 feet in height. He was wearing clear lensed glasses, khaki colored pants and khaki colored button down shirt.
