Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Navicent Health Hospital at around 4:15 a.m. this morning in reference to a male brought to the hospital, by a third party, with a gunshot wound. The information was called in by Navicent Health Hospital Police.
The victim, 30 year old Ryan Odom reported that he and his girlfriend were walking in the 400 block of Cherry Street near M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard when he heard some gunshots. He was struck in the right leg. His girlfriend drove him to the Navicent. Odom is listed in stable condition. Odom told deputies he did not wish to pursue the incident. There were no reports of gunshots in the area where the incident was reported to have occurred.
