The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred this morning at the Quality Cleaners located at 1338 Gray Highway just before 9:15 a.m. It was reported that two black males entered the cleaners and approached the employee. One of the males demanded money from the employee and displayed a handgun. The employee broke away from the suspect’s grip and ran from the business. After the employee ran out of the business, the two suspects were seen running out of the cleaners carrying a green plastic container that contained several rolls of coins from the business. The suspects were last seen running around the rear of the business. No one was injured during the incident.
One suspect was described as being 6’1”to 6’2” in height, slender build and light skinned. The second suspect, which displayed the gun, was described as being 5’8” to 5’9” in height, medium build and wearing a camouflaged mask and red sweater.
