The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident involving a pedestrian that occurred in the 1000 block of Gray Highway just after 9:30 p.m. Monday night. It was reported that 39 year old Jonathan Mullis of Forsyth was traveling northbound on Gray Highway in a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. A pedestrian identified as 32 year old Daniel Thomas, from Macon, crossed Gray Highway in a westbound direction into the path of the Chevrolet Silverado and was struck.
Thomas was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital to be treated for his injuries which were reported to be serious. His condition is not known at this time.
The accident is currently under investigation and no charges have been made at this time. Anyone with information about this accident is asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
