The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred just after 8:40PM Monday night at the General Dollar Store, located at 4996 Bloomfield Road.

It was reported that two black males, entered the store armed.  One suspect was armed with a handgun and the other armed with a shotgun. A third male suspect stood watch at the front door of the store, also armed with a shotgun. All suspects were wearing all black clothing and masks. The suspect with the hand gun approached the counter and demanded money from both of the store’s registers. The suspect demanded that the store employee also open the safe. The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and safe. The suspects left the store heading in the direction to the right side of the building. No one was injured during the robbery.
