On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 the Bibb County Sheriff’s Financial Crimes Unit arrested 58 year old Donna Jean Rogers for theft by taking, possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

During the investigation it was discovered that while serving as PTO President for Porter Elementary School from 2015 to 2016, Rogers took money from the PTO account exceeding $15,600.00. During a search warrant conducted at the residence of Rogers, Xanax pills and marijuana were recovered along with documents that are associated with the investigation of the fiduciary theft.

Rogers was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charges listed. Bond was set at $13,800.00. Rogers has been released on bond.
