In a joint effort with investigators from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Macon Regional Crimestoppers, the U.S. Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force, U.S. Marshals Service in South Carolina and Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, an arrest was made in the homicide of Darian Brewster. Quinten McCorey Jackson of Macon was captured and arrested in North Augusta South Carolina at around 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon without incident.

Also arrested with Jackson is Sandra Gail Thomas of Macon. She is believed to have been hindering the apprehension of Jackson. Both are currently being held in Aiken County South Carolina pending extradition back to Macon.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide Outside Downtown Nightclub

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred outside Dream Bar & Lounge, located at 840 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., just before 4:00a.m. Saturday morning. It was reported that 34yr old Darian Brewster of Macon had just exited the club and was approached while in his vehicle by two unknown black males. Brewster and one of the males had a verbal altercation and Brewster was shot one time in the chest. Brewster drove himself to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he pronounced dead by doctors. There were two other passengers in the vehicle with Brewster. No one else was injured in the incident. No other information is being released at this time.
