The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on Pio Nono Ave at Guy Paine Rd just before 08:00am Saturday morning. It was reported that a gold Chrysler 300, driven by 38yr old Shunya Glenn, of Macon, was traveling south on Pio Nono and was making a U-turn just north of Guy Paine Rd. Glenn’s vehicle was struck by a black Yamaha YZF R6 motorcycle, driven by 39yr old Nathaniel Howard of Warner Robins. Howard was traveling north on Pio Nono Ave.
Howard was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center to be treated for his injuries and is listed in critical condition.
Glenn is being issued citations for failure to yield right of way while making a U-turn and suspended registration.
