Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies Responded To A Person Shot in North Bibb
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Circle K Convenience Store at 3802 Northside Drive just before 10:20PM in reference to a person shot. When deputies arrived they found 27 year old, Janetta Harden with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.
It was reported that Harden came to the store to meet another party to look at a gun she was possibly going to purchase. Harden took the gun into the restroom to look at it. She accidentally shot herself while handling the gun in the restroom. She was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital to be treated for her injury. She is listed in stable condition and the injury is reported to be non-life threatening. No one else was injured during the incident.
