The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at 1389 Pio Nono Avenue, the Chevron Gas Station just before 9:30p.m. Thursday night. It was reported that two black males got into a physical altercation inside the store. When the subjects left the store, one male went to his car that was parked at the gas pumps, retrieved a pistol and began shooting at the other male that was walking south across Montpelier Avenue. The suspect with the gun then got into his black Honda and drove off, south on Pio Nono Avenue. No one was injured during the altercation.
Investigators are interviewing witnesses and gathering information in efforts to help identify the suspect.
