The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic accident that occurred just before 3:30AM, Tuesday morning at 621 Foster Road, Emmanuel Baptist Church.
It was reported that the driver of a 2009 BMW 325i, 18 year old Mary Wade of Macon, drove off of the parking lot, into a grassy part of the property and became stuck. Wade and a friend, who was a passenger, attempted to get the vehicle out the grass and mud. While attempting to move the vehicle, it rolled back, onto the passenger. She was identified as 18 year old Murray Nixon of Macon. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones has notified the next of kin.
