Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators identified the female found near the Second Street Bridge on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Through information received during the investigation the female was identified as Arielle Meadow Carroll, 25 years old, from Macon. Carroll’s next of kin was located after she was identified.
An autopsy on Carroll was performed earlier this week. Information and evidence discovered during the investigation does not indicate any foul play involved at this time in the death of Carroll.

At around 5:30AM Sunday morning, Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded an area under the 2nd Street Bridge near the railroad tracks in reference to an unresponsive person. Deputies found a white female lying on the ground unresponsive when they arrived. She was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
The identity of the female has not been confirmed at this time and the incident is under investigation. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed the first of the week to determine the cause of death.
