The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted commercial armed robbery that occurred Monday night just before 11:30PM at Domino’s Pizza located at 4682 Forsyth Road.  It was reported that a black male entered the store carrying a revolver. The suspect walked to the back of the store where the employee was standing and demanded the employee give him money. The employee and the suspect got into a physical altercation. The employee was shot by the suspect as they were tussling inside the store. The suspect ran out of the store towards the rear of the business.

The employee, 27 year old Timdra Rutledge was shot once in the abdomen. He was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he was treated for the gunshot wound and released. No money was taken during the attempted robbery and no further information is available on the suspect at the present time.
