The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received information this morning of a possible suspect in the pedestrian accident that occurred on Forest Hill Road at Oak Hill Court Wednesday night, October 22, 2015. It was reported that the vehicle’s owner had loaned her 2010 silver Dodge Avenger to a family member who was identified to deputies as 24 year old, Teri Alexandria Rollins, of Macon. Rollins lives with the family member. The vehicle’s owner asked Rollins last night what she had hit after discovering damage to the vehicle. Rollins told her she hit a curb. The owner also later saw the information about the accident on the local news last night and asked Rollins again, what happened. Still, Rollins told the owner she hit a curb.

The owner of the Dodge contacted the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office just before 9:00AM this morning. Deputies went out to the owner’s residence which was in the North Macon area, near the accident location. After inspecting the vehicle’s damage, deputies spoke with the Rollins. The passenger side mirror assembly was also missing from the vehicle as reported last night. Rollins told deputies she did not remember hitting anyone with the vehicle last night.

She was taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charges. Her bond is set at $3,900.00. Mr. Jimenez is being released from the Navicent Health this afternoon.
