The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Financial Crimes Unit was notified by Investigators with the Jones County Sheriff’s Office that the white female suspect wanted for Forgery, Identity Theft and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property in Bibb County, had been arrested in Jones County on an unrelated warrant.
Several Crimestoppers tips were received and through the tips the suspect was identified as 23 year old, Amber Leigh McCallister of Gray Georgia. McCallister was transported back to Bibb County and booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex on the theft and forgery charges. Her bond is set at $8,500.00.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, the media and citizens who contacted Crimestoppers with tips on locating and identifying McCallister.
