The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred Sunday night just before midnight at the In and Out Grocery located at 4032 Chambers Road.  It was reported that the male employee of the store was closing up when three masked, black males, all armed with semi-auto handguns, entered the store. The suspects forced the employee behind the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The employee was also forced to open the safe which contained no money at the time. The suspects took a carton of cigarettes and some other items before fleeing the store on foot. They were last seen running into a wooded area behind the store.

The suspects were described as wearing all black clothing with bandanas over their faces. Two of the suspects were described as short. The third suspect was described as being tall and skinny with dreads. All three suspects were described as being in their 20’s to 30’s in age. The employee was not injured during the incident.
