The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery by snatching that took place outside the Family Dollar Store located at 3567 Houston Avenue just after 7:00AM this morning. It was reported that the manager of the store was leaving to take care of some business for the store when she saw two black males behind the store. She drove around to the rear of the store to make contact with the male subjects. She said one of the males came over to her vehicle and opened the passenger door and took the bag containing the store’s deposit and her cellphone. The two suspects ran away from the store after taking the items.
One suspect was wearing a black shirt with red dickey pants. He had dreads and was around 5 feet 8 inches in height and weighed approximately 150 pounds. The second suspect was described as wearing a black t-shirt, and gym shorts that appeared to be gray and dirty. He was also around 5 feet 8 inches in height and weighed approximately 150 pounds. Both suspects were described to be between 15 to 19 years of age. No one was injured during the incident.
