State Farm is working the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office to help keep teens safe on the road throughout Bibb County. A State Farm Good Neighbor Citizenship Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 will be presented to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 2:00PM at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Training Range located at 110 Confederate Way. The grant will help support our Teen Driver Safety Program. The program delivers classroom and simulator instruction to the students. Each teen participating will receive 4 days of instruction demonstrating lessons in making good, positive choices behind the wheel. Driving simulators are used to provide exercises demonstrating texting while driving, skidding, rollover and driving in dangerous conditions.
