Bibb Sheriff’s Office Investigating Person Shot Incident

Bibb Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to a call at the Navicent Health Hospital just before 9:30PM Monday night of a person brought in that had been shot. Deputies met with the 20 year old female victim. It was reported that she was standing outside the L.H. Williams School’s gym located at 325 Pursley Street when she heard a popping noise. She looked down and noticed she was bleeding on her hands. A friend drove the victim to the Navicent Health. The victim was grazed on both arms. She was treated for the injuries. 

During the investigation it was reported that an unidentified male dropped a gun on the ground and the gun discharged. This incident is currently under investigation. The investigators are conducting interviews and following up on the information received.
