Bibb County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies responded to 4028 Suzanne Drive at around 6:30a.m., after a caller stated that he was being attacked by an intruder, with a hammer. The caller said that he shot the intruder after he was hit in the head with a hammer.
The caller was transported to a local hospital where he is listed to be in stable condition. The intruder was found deceased inside of the house.
The deceased is a 49 year old male. The coroner’s office is attempting to contact the next of kin at this time.
The incident is being investigated by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
