The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a person shot just before 7:00 a.m. this morning at 1074 McCall Road. When deputies arrived they found one male victim shot inside the home. The victim was struck multiple times.
The victim was identified as 42 year old, Ulysses Pitts of Macon. Pitts lived at the address on McCall Road. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones has notified the next of kin.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are interviewing possible witnesses and Crime Scene Investigators are processing the crime scene. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
