The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place this morning just before 4:30 a.m. at the Circle K Convenience Store located at 15 Spring Street. It was reported that a black male entered the store, walked up to the clerk and demanded money. The suspect did not display a weapon but he did tell the clerk he had a gun in his pocket. The clerk said the suspect also had a jacket covering his left hand. The clerk gave an undisclosed amount of cash from the registers to the suspect. The suspect fled the store on foot last seen running in the direction of Riverside Drive.

The suspect was wearing a zip up hoodie, a blue bandana covering his mouth and nose, and black and white tennis shoes. No further information is available on the suspect at this time. No one was injured during the incident.
