The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred in the 1200 block of Mimosa Drive at around 10:12p.m. Tuesday night. It was reported that several people were sitting inside of a vehicle that was parked in front of a residence, while others stood outside of the vehicle. A white vehicle approached from Sharon Drive. An occupant that was inside of the white colored vehicle fired several rounds towards the parked vehicle and the people that were standing next to the car. The white vehicle sped off, towards Napier Avenue.

Tracey Robinson Jr. , age 20 from Macon was struck in the left leg by one of the bullets and was taken to the hospital by a family member. Robinson is listed to be in stable condition. No one else was injured during this incident.

Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators are interviewing possible witnesses and processing the scene for evidence in an attempt to identify those involved.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white, mid-sized vehicle, with tinted windows. No other information was available. Addition information will be released as it becomes available.
