The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place at 10:59 a.m., Wednesday morning, at the Corner Grocery, located at 2057 Walnut Street.
It was reported that a masked male subject entered the Corner Grocery. The subject brandished a firearm and demanded money from the store clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot west on Walnut Street. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect was described as a slender black male between five foot eleven and six foot one foot. The suspect was wearing a red ski mask, desert storm camouflage coveralls, and black shoes.
