On January 30, 2024, Tuesday, just before 5:00 p.m., twenty-two-year-old Quintavious Vincent Johnson of Macon was booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Quintavious Johnson was wanted in Bibb County in connection with the death of Kealan Tre Hardeman on November 18, 2023.

Bibb County Deputies took Johnson into custody from the Bleckley County Jail and transported him to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Quintavious Vincent Johnson faces a charge of Murder and six counts of Pointing a Firearm at Another.

He does not have a bond.

Death Investigation on Brentwood Avenue

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred inside the 1400 block of Brentwood Avenue just after 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

On November 18, 2023, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a ShotSpotter alert and distress call reporting shots fired in the area at 6:14 p.m. When Deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a twenty-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim by ambulance to Atrium Health Navicent for medical treatment. According to Medical Staff, Kealan Tre Hardeman was pronounced deceased at 7:02 p.m.According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified. No one else was reported injured during this incident.

Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
