The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person.

It was reported that 18-year-old Luis Marco Hernandez was last seen at his home in the 1200 block of North Plantation Parkway, on December 19, 2023. According to his aunt, she and Hernandez argued about the home being messy and he left the house without her knowing. Deputies searched the area and did not locate him.

On December 20, 2023, deputies responded to the location to do a missing person report because Hernandez had not returned. His aunt reported that he left the home without his bookbag.  Hernandez was placed in NCIC as a missing person and a BOLO was issued.

After further investigation, it has been reported that Hernandez may have left home with a bag containing some of his belongings. It was reported that he also has in his possession a Glock 19 that his aunt stated he usually carries for protection. Hernandez’s aunt stated that he would only be considered a danger to himself and not to others.

Hernandez is described as a white male, around 5 feet 9 inches in height, and he weighs approximately 200lbs. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a bright orange shirt, a dark jacket, and dark boots.
