The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred just after 02:30 a.m. on December 17, 2023, on I-75 Southbound near the on-ramp from Mercer University Drive.
It was reported that a Toyota Camry, driven by a 25-year-old male of Macon, was traveling south on I-75 near the on-ramp from Mercer University when it lost control and struck the guardrail. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced deceased on the scene by Deputy Coroner Miley.
