The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened at 4731 Chambers Road, Waffle House just after 4:00 a.m.
It was reported that a 33-year-old male, 29-year-old male, and 28-year-old female entered the Waffle House on Chambers Road. While paying for their food another customer, 35-year-old Darryes Monteze Hill who was in the restaurant, began shooting. The two males and female were all struck once in the lower leg. Hill was also struck in the lower leg. Everyone was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition currently. No one else was injured in the incident.
Hill will be charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and Theft by Receiving Stolen Property. Hill is still at the hospital receiving treatment for his injuries. Once he is released from the hospital, he will be transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
