Bibb County Deputies located Mr. Jesse Jerome Farrar at 3:14a.m,  on Gray Highway near the Waffle House. It was discovered that Mr. Farrar had walked from Bass Road to Gray Highway. Mr. Farrar was evaluated by paramedics on the scene and found to be unharmed and reunited with his family.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person.

According to investigators, 70-year-old Jesse Jerome Farrar was last seen just before 5:30 p.m. by his family standing outside of Marshall’s located at 1625 Bass Road. He was reported missing to the Sheriff’s Office just after 7:00 p.m. after family members failed to locate him.

Farrar is described as a black male with gray hair, standing six feet tall.  He weighs approximately 210 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black ball cap with the words Champion, blue t-shirt, blue jeans, and gray shoes.

It was reported that Farrar was diagnosed with dementia. It is reported that he has a disabled arm and has slurred speech due to a stroke.
