On October 4, 2023, just after 4:00 p.m., twenty-year-old Ronquez Deshon Wynn of Macon was booked into the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Wynn was wanted in Bibb County for murder in connection with the death of twenty-five-year-old Donchevelle Gerald Boddie on July 18, 2023.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies picked up Wynn from Dekalb County jail and transported him to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
Ronquez Deshon Wynn faces the charge of Murder. He does not have a bond.

Death Investigation at Baymont Inn & Suites
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place at Baymont Inn & Suites located at 3680 Riverside Drive.
On July 18, 2023, at 9:33 p.m. deputies responded to Baymont Inn & Suites in reference to reported shots fired. It was reported that a male was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Atrium Health Navicent by ambulance. No one else was injured during this incident. Investigators are on the scene working to determine the circumstances that led to the incident.
The victim was identified as twenty-five-year-old Donchevelle Gerald Boddie. According to Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson, Donchevelle Boddie was pronounced deceased by medical staff at 10:12 p.m. The next of kin has been notified.
