The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred at the car wash located within the 1900 block of Millerfield Road.
On September 30, 2023, at 1:18 p.m., Deputies responded to the scene regarding a person shot. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a nineteen-year-old male with a gunshot wound. The victim had succumbed to his injury. No one else was reported injured.
The victim was identified as Cameran Iasiah Jerrell Williams. Williams was pronounced deceased by Coroner Leon Jones. According to Coroner Jones, the next of kin has been notified.
Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
