Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies arrested a suspect in connection with a burglary of a local business. The burglary occurred just after 10:00 a.m., Sunday morning at First Choice Primary Care, at 400 Poplar Street.

Deputies responded to the business and met with witnesses who reported that a white male was observed breaking through the glass door and entering the business. Deputies entered the building to search for the suspect. During the search, the suspect was located hiding inside an office. Deputies identified the suspect as thirty-eight-year-old Eric Andrew Young of Augusta. Deputies took Eric Young into custody. Paramedics treated Young for injuries he sustained from breaking into the business.

Eric Andrew Young was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with Felony Second Degree Burglary. He currently has no bond.
