The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial robbery that took place on September 20, 2023, just before 1:00 p.m., at Family Dollar, at 3567 Houston Avenue.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the scene at 1:02 p.m. and arrived at 1:05 p.m. to investigate. It was reported that a male suspect entered the store brandishing a firearm. Money was demanded from the store clerk. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the store on foot. No one was harmed during this incident.
The suspect was described as a black male approximately five feet nine and of medium build. He was wearing a green ski mask, a long-sleeved top (which appears bleached), khaki pants, and sneakers.
