The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic collision with injuries that occurred on Broadway near Guy Paine Road, just before noon.
It was reported that a Honda Accord, driven by a 28-year-old female of Warner Robins, was traveling north on Broadway alongside a logging truck. At the Guy Paine Road intersection, a collision occurred between the Honda and the logging truck as it turned on Guy Paine Road. The Honda went off-road and struck a tree, and a parked unoccupied Bibb County Sheriff’s Office patrol vehicle. The driver of the logging truck did not stop. The driver of the Honda Accord was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent and is listed in critical condition. The Honda also was occupied by a newborn infant who is in stable condition. No one else was injured during the incident.
