Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrest five in connection with a Commercial Burglary investigation.

On August 30, 2023, at 6:52 a.m., a call came into the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center reporting suspicious activity on Brookdale Avenue. It was reported that two men and a woman were pushing a chest and moving items in the area. Patrol deputies responded to the area to investigate. While in the area, deputies discovered Furniture Clinic, located at 3192 Vineville Avenue had been burglarized. During the investigation, it was discovered the suspects were inside a residence within the 100 block of Comer Terrace. Investigators responded to the scene. A search warrant was executed at the residence, which led to the apprehension of five subjects, all of which were taken into custody without incident. Merchandise that was stolen from Furniture Clinic was located inside the residence.

The subjects apprehended were identified as twenty-eight-year-old Tyler Hunter Bliss, thirty-six-year-old Christian Jamarcus Edwards, thirty-nine-year-old Whitney Blair Hooks, thirty-one-year-old Adrian Daniel McDowell, and fifty-two-year-old Trina Laschell Bliss. All subjects were transported to Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Headquarters for further investigation. They were then transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.

Tyler Hunter Bliss, Christian Jamarcus Edwards, and Whitney Blair Hooks all face a charge of 2nd Degree Burglary. Adrian Daniel McDowell was wanted in Bibb County for a misdemeanor offense, his warrant was served. Trina Laschell Bliss was currently wanted in Jones County. Her warrant was also served.
