The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault incident that possibly occurred near the Bowman Street and Cochran Avenue area.
On August 28, 2023, just after 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon, deputies responded to a local medical facility in report of a twelve-year-old male juvenile, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. It was reported that the juvenile was transported to the hospital by personal vehicle. The juvenile is listed to be in stable condition.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
