Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in helping to locate 21-year-old Terrial Dean, of Macon. Dean is wanted in connection to the death investigation of 30-year-old, Robert Evans.

Investigators have issued warrants for Dean’s arrest. Terrial Dean is five feet one inch tall and weighs approximately one hundred and eighty pounds. A photograph of Terrial Dean is attached to this media release.

Investigators are also asking for the public’s help in identifying a second person of interest. The individual is described as a black male with dreads last seen wearing a white tee shirt and gray shorts.

Death Investigation on Martin Luther King Boulevard

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred, just after 4:00 a.m., Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to the intersection of Martin Luther King Blvd. and Poplar Street regarding a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, they located a male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male, identified as 30-year-old, Robert Evans, was transported to Atrium Health Navicent Hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced deceased. The next of kin has been notified.

It was reported that Evans was involved in a physical altercation and after the altercation several shots were fired in his direction. A second male, walking down the sidewalk during this incident was struck by gunfire. He was transported to the hospital by personal vehicle for treatment for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. He is listed to be in stable condition.
