The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that happened in the parking lot of the Exxon Gas Station at 3484 Napier Avenue, just before 02:00 a.m.
It was reported that there was an altercation in the parking lot of the gas station. During the altercation an unknown person started shooting. A 20-year-old male was struck in the upper body. He was driven by personal vehicle to the Atrium Health and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. Investigators are looking into what lead up to the shooting.
There is no information on the suspect available currently.
