The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a commercial armed robbery suspect. The incident occurred on July 17, 2023, at 12:31 a.m., at the Sunoco Gas Station located at 3821 Northside Drive.
It was reported that a masked individual entered Sunoco and brandished a firearm at the store clerk. Money was demanded from the cash register. The store clerk removed an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and gave it to the suspect. The suspect then fled the business.
The suspect is described as a black male, five feet six inches in height. He was wearing a camouflage balaclava face mask, black long sleeve t-shirt, khaki cargo shorts, black socks, and dark boots with gray soles.
