The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that was reported to have occurred in the 1300 block of Sanford Avenue, just before 4:00 p.m. Friday.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1300 block of Sandford Avenue after receiving a distress call that someone was shot at this location. Deputies discovered the victim had been transported to a medical facility by vehicle. Investigators contacted a 23-year-old male suffering from a single gunshot wound at the medical facility. The victim had no life-threatening injuries and is listed in stable condition. The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation. Additional information will be provided once it becomes available.
