The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 4:18 p.m. at Judy’s Nails, located at 3888 Pio Nono Avenue.

At 4:24 p.m. on July 14, 2023, deputies arrived at Judy’s Nails in response to a reported armed robbery. Deputies were told by witnesses that a masked tall black male entered the business, brandishing a firearm. The suspect pointed the firearm at the store clerk and demanded money from the cash register. The store clerk gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect. The suspect then fled the store on foot westbound towards Pio Nono Avenue. No one was injured during this incident.

The suspect was described to be between six foot two to six foot four in height, wearing a black face covering, a black short sleeve t-shirt, black sweatpants with three stripes on the legs (possibly Adidas brand), white socks, and black sneakers with red or orange soles.

The case is currently under investigation.

Commercial Armed Robbery Investigation at Judy’s Nails
